NEW FEATURE RELEASES AND FIXES TO YOUR XPOS SYSTEM THIS WEEK

5 NEW FEATURES TO LOOK OUT FOR

1. Account Transfers Pay All Feature

Competition payments just got faster with a new update enabling retailers to send a specific amount to multiple golfers at the same time.  

After selecting the winners, key in the ££ prize into the new ‘Amount’ box. The Notes field can also be populated at the top which will send the same message to everyone selected.   As before, the green Transfer button completes the action.  This feature is not exclusive to competitions.

2. Press for Gift Receipt

There are now two ways to provide a gift receipt.   

You’ll notice a new toggle in the top right hand corner of your screen which you can now click, at the point of sale, to print a gift receipt. 

As before, customers will still be able to request a gift  (or VAT) receipt once the transaction is complete.  To do this, return to the sale in the sales list, click and press Print Receipt. 

3. Selling Multiple Receipt Vouchers

A great time-saving shortcut!  You can now sell multiple vouchers at once, rather than having to add them separately.

Simply add a voucher to the sale and select a quantity, which will appear as one line in the basket. 

For now, this update only applies to printed or receipt vouchers. 

4. More Options When Updating Customer Details

Xpos users now have more options when it comes to updating customer information ‘en masse’.  It’s another time-saver enabling you to change the details of multiple customers at once – including marketing preferences and email receipts.

Once you’ve created a customer bundle, go to to Update Customer Details and choose the required change from the drop down menu. 

5. New Home Screen

From this week, Xpos users will also notice a brand new home screen which we plan to update regularly with industry news, retail advice and Xpos updates. We hope you find it useful.

Your Xpos cloud software will be upgraded automatically on the evening of 16th July after 7pm.
