New Golf Retail Sales Update

Here’s Xpos founder and Circana’s Golf Datatech VP, Phil Barnard, with an update on the UK’s golf retail sales results for October.

The UK market was down 8.1% in value in October, with 17 out of 19 categories down.

While golfers made the most of the drier weather, the Government’s Budget announcement is likely the reason for the fall in sales of higher ticket items, such as woods, irons and club packs.
