Xpos Cloud Update

Key New Features

Passports – Continuation of Expiry Dates
Previously, if a Passport product was purchased with a 30-day validity period and the same product was bought again on day 29, the remaining one day from the original Passport was forfeited. With the new approach, expiration dates are cumulative. This means that when customers renew or extend their Passport before it expires, the remaining validity is added to the new period – ensuring no lost value.

Stock Control Matrix (Phased / Licence-Based Release)
We are introducing a Stock Matrix option within the Orders screen.
This enhancement allows users to:

  • Switch between traditional list-based stock input
  • Or use a matrix-style stock entry screen (similar to Version 2 / MPS)

Key notes:

  • This feature will initially be licence-controlled
  • It will not be enabled for general release immediately
  • It will begin within the Orders screen

This provides greater flexibility for customers managing multi-variant stock.

Key Bug Fixes

E-mail Voucher Delivery Issue

We resolved an issue introduced in the previous release where:

  • E-mail vouchers were not being sent
  • The report path was incorrectly configured
  • In most cases, no visible error message was shown to users

This has now been corrected. We are also reviewing whether any vouchers sold during the affected period may not have been delivered.

Cash Drawer “Always Open” Setting

Fixed an issue where the cash drawer failed to open even when:

  • The “always open drawer” setting was enabled

This has now been corrected across payment types, including:

  • Account payments
  • Xeft payments
  • Other configured methods

The drawer should now consistently open when the setting is selected.

GIT – Multiple Competitions on Same Day

Resolved a GIT-related issue affecting scenarios where:

  • Two competitions were scheduled on the same day

As GIT functionality is largely driven by API integrations, this area can be complex despite its simple interface. This fix improves stability in these scenarios.
