Xpos Cloud Update: June 2026
New Features
Improved Transaction Reliability: We’ve introduced a new approach to saving sales throughout the checkout process. Instead of only saving a sale once it has been fully completed, the system now saves progress as items, customers and payments are added. This means that if a browser closes unexpectedly or an internet connection is interrupted, less information is lost. In some cases, an incomplete transaction may now appear as a Draft Sale, allowing it to be reviewed and completed rather than recreated from scratch.
Shopify Product Import: A new option has been added to Shopify Link that allows products to be imported from Shopify into Xpos when no existing product match is found. This helps streamline product setup and reduces the need for manual product creation.
Coming Soon: Development continues on several larger features that will be released in future updates, including:
- Kit Products – allowing multiple products to be grouped and sold together, making it easier to create meal deals, bundles and promotional packages.
- Additional food & beverage features, including functionality aimed at café and bar environments, with some capabilities being made available to all customers where appropriate.
SIE
- Dimension and result unit can be mapped for Xeft fees.
- Xeft charges discrepancy has now been resolved
- Account 0000 will not be used in SIE data unless a field has been left unmapped and warning message has been ignored.
- Discrepancies of 0.01 as a result of loyalty payments have been corrected within the export.
- Fields can be left blank. If there are sales against this then a warning message will appear notifying you that the field should be populated.
- Export history list with the ability to re-run files (see new tab in SIE settings page).
- General settings – shop name has been changed to local name.
- Xeft Refund fees in SIE mapping page has been merged with Xeft payments. This means the value shown in SIE for Xeft payments will match the value expected in the bank account.
- Restriction has been added for Xeft payments and fees.
- All companies mapped to the same Xeft shop ID will need to map Xeft payments to the same SIE account.
Reports improvements and fixes:
- Dashboard: To provide improved comparative insights, the dashboard will display data for the previous 12 months rather than year-to-date (YTD). Bug fix – Incorrect groups appearing in top 10 – issue has been resolved.
- Voucher Sales and redemptions: Issue reported for vouchers not appearing in report. This was due to an issue when sales were being laid away. The issue has now been resolved. Expired vouchers not appearing in report – due to report only looking for expired vouchers with a balance.

Sales by Hour: Based on the legacy version, the Sales by Hour report provides valuable insights into your busiest and most profitable times of the day, helping you staff your shop more effectively. The report has now been enhanced to include a breakdown of sales by hour across different departments. There are 4 versions of the report including Net Sales Summarised, Gross Margin Summarised, Net Sales Detailed, Gross Margin Detailed.
- Summarised – This sums the value over days of the week based on the date range filter.
- Detailed – This lists each day individually based on the date range filter. See example of the report below:

Sales Analysis: Report is being re-built and will release as soon as each version is ready.

Stock In Improvements: Fixed an issue where Clear Filters did not remove all applied filters in the new Stock In product search. Fixed an issue where adding the same product variant to a Stock In multiple times could overwrite the quantity that had already been entered.
Companies List: Fixed an issue where internal company codes were displayed when they should have remained hidden.
Basket Discounts: Fixed an issue where basket discounts could calculate incorrect values when distributing discounts across multiple quantities, ensuring totals are now calculated accurately.
